The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties announced that 36 health societies had achieved performance efficiency standards during the annual forum of health societies organized by the authority yesterday, in the presence of the Commission’s Secretary General, heads of health societies and a number of its members.
The Saudi Society for Clinical Chemistry achieved Authority’s Award for Excellence as the 3rd best health society for obtaining this place in the “A” category out of 50 societies that were classified into 5 categories according to achieving the performance standards of each association.
During the forum, the authority announced the launch of the unified membership system for health societies to facilitate the process of issuing memberships for those wishing to join associations, and it also honored a number of associations for preparing guides for professional practice
The Secretary-General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Dr. Ayman bin Asaad Abdo, stressed the importance and role of health societies in serving various specialties, and their role in enriching scientific research and serving health practitioners, pointing to the need to redouble efforts to improve their work and ensure the quality of their outputs to ensure that the classification of associations is raised to the highest levels and activate Its role in the healthy community.
The Secretary-General congratulated the health societies that won the authority’s award in performance efficiency standards for what they have done during the last period, pointing out that the authority’s mission is to protect and promote health under the leadership of competent practitioners.
