In line with ongoing efforts to advance quality practices in clinical laboratories, the course titled “Strategic Quality Improvement and Implementation of Six Sigma Methodology in Clinical Laboratories” was successfully held at King Fahd University Hospital in Al Khobar on 15–16 February 2026.
The course was conducted by special invitation and was accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties with 12 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours.
The program was delivered by Dr. Amani Gusti, Consultant Clinical Biochemistry, Health Services, King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital, Jeddah.
The course was organized by the Saudi Society for Clinical Chemistry in collaboration with Abbott Diagnostics.
The event witnessed distinguished participation and strong engagement from attendees, receiving highly positive feedback. It played a significant role in strengthening the practical understanding of strategic quality improvement concepts and the effective implementation of Six Sigma methodology within clinical laboratory practices.
